How to Get involved

Volunteer meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 6 p.m. For more information, email office manager Kelly McNight at kelly@yakimamakerspace.org.

Volunteer

Volunteering can be done on an occasional or regular basis. If you log at least 9 hours per month, you will receive a complimentary membership for that month. Volunteer tasks can include, but are not limited to: helping lead tours during public hours on Saturdays, setup/cleanup before or after events, fixing tools, construction, maintenance of the space, and more.

Board Membership

We are actively seeking members for the board. If you are good at fundraising, being a spokesperson for the space, making business connections and providing leadership, then please apply for to be considered for board membership. Applications can be found at the front desk or by emailing info@yakimamakerspace.org.
